BMC's police accountability working group works to develop Central Brooklyn's capacity to respond to overpolicing practices and policies. We're currently working on:
- starting a Crown Heights CopWatch Team
- creating a Central Brooklyn Rapid Response Network
- working with Communities united for Police Reform (CPR) to pass the Right to Know Act in the NY City Council and the Police STAT act in the NY State Legislature
