BMC 2015 Annual Meeting

Annual_Meeting_2015_(FINAL).png

Every September, BMC brings together our membership to chart the course of the organization for the coming twelve months. This year is no different!

On Saturday, September 12, we're asking you, our members, to lead BMC in this critical time of rebellion and movement building. Run for the board. Commit to joining an issue campaign. Create dynamic ways for us to center the Movement for Black Lives in our neighborhood. But, if nothing else, come out to build with the BMC family.

RSVPs and childcare reservations are now closed. Please register at the event.

Agenda

  • Keynote speaker: Opal Tometi, co-founder of Black Lives Matter & Executive Director of Black Alliance for Just Immigration (BAJI)
  • Elect new BMC board members!
  • Connect with food justice, police accountability, anti-street harassment, citizen journalism & education campaigns.
  • Decide what supports our membership needs to grow and thrive in 2016.

Lunch and a light breakfast will be served.
